| Colton Baker, Grounds "The money from the scholarship will be used to help finance my education and further my academic endeavors. As I am taking loans out to help my family afford my college experience, the scholarship will provide funds to ease the financial burdens on my family. Additionally, my work experience over the summer has and will continue to impact my education. The golf course groundskeeper job taught me valuable time management and communication skills, which I have used in my academic clubs and classes. Lastly, working at the Patterson Club has taught me about the amount of effort and hard work that goes into the sport of golf, giving me a greater appreciation of it." - Colton | |

My first year, I started as a snack bar attendant and by the end of that summer I was promoted to an assistant manager position. This past summer, I was able to build my leadership skills, network, meet amazing people, make memories, and more. As a previous scholarship recipient, the impact of this award means so much to my family and me. Going to school out of state is not easy, and I try my best to find ways to make that cost a little smaller. I am beyond grateful to be able to have received this award for a second year in a row. I love the Patterson Club and the opportunities they have given me to better my professional experience!" - Elisha |
